MY LOVE IS YOUR LOVE : EVERY WOMAN BIENNIAL

Thank you, I’m so delighted to present my ‘Sharing Love With HeArt’ painting, ‘The United Colour’s of Love’ born out of lockdown, on show at the EVERY WOMAN BIENNIAL, alongside some 300 other great women artists, with sister show’s in New York and London, wonderfully curated by C Finley.

The EVERY WOMAN BIENNIAL is a celebration of: uplifting women, non-binary artists, creating opportunities, encouragement, connection, community, inspiration and love. Bringing together established artists alongside hundreds of emerging artists, some showing for the first time.

The Biennial launched in NYC in 2014 by founder C. Finley, originally under the name, The Whitney Houston Biennial, as a way to provide a platform and exposure for more female artists. Each year, one of Whitney Houston’s songs celebrating women lifting each other up, provides the title for the Biennial, as well as a block-party style street dance, and this year’s Biennial theme is MY LOVE IS YOUR LOVE. Get ready to dance on June 24!

MISSION STATEMENT 

My Love Is Your Love, we are building a platform of partnerships – artists, art collectives, cultural organizations, and sponsors – to come together to give unprecedented support and exposure at this exciting moment celebrating and lifting up women and non-binary artists. All are welcome. “The goal is to develop a heightened consciousness in the art world favoring encouragement, connection, inspiration and love. Every Woman Biennial is our rallying cry which aims to bring together many creative voices to sing a collective song that celebrates the contribution of female artists and marks a moment in our communal trajectory.” -founder/curator C. In the wake of 2020, a year that has forced physical separation while continuing to illuminate our interconnectedness and the power we hold when we stand united, EVERY WOMAN BIENNIAL 2021 brings female and non-binary artists together from across the globe in the spirit of community and collaboration, to investigate themes of inspiration, connection and love while celebrating the abundance and beauty of Mother Nature and the Divine Feminine within us all. All are welcome.
